NEET is unusual among Indian entrance exams in that half the paper is one subject and there is only one attempt a year. Both facts change what is worth tracking: Biology deserves more granularity than the other two combined, and accuracy matters more than attempt count because every wrong answer costs you.

Biology is half the paper, so track Botany and Zoology apart
Ninety of the 180 questions are Biology. Logging that as a single subject wastes the most important half of your data - Botany and Zoology have different failure modes, and "Biology is fine" can be true on average while one half quietly lags.

Negative marking makes accuracy the metric, not attempts
At +4 and -1, a wrong answer is a 5-mark swing against a correct one. That makes your attempt-to-correct ratio more diagnostic than your raw attempt count: 160 attempts at 80% accuracy beats 180 at 70%, and the difference is large.
Every mock you log records attempted and correct per subject, so accuracy is computed rather than estimated. If your attempts are climbing while accuracy falls, that shows up immediately - which is the pattern the negative marking strategy guide is about avoiding.
One attempt a year changes how much a single mock means
With no second sitting, there is no "I will fix it in the next attempt". The entire feedback loop has to happen inside your mock series, which makes the quality of your mock analysis the thing that decides your score.
The tracker tags each analysis pass R0 to R7 against its mock and schedules the next one, so a mock you took in June is still generating value in August rather than sitting unopened in a folder.
NCERT coverage is a checklist, and checklists need logs
NEET is famously NCERT-centric, which turns preparation into a coverage problem: which chapters have you actually read, and which have you only read once. Hours studied does not answer that.
Because every session carries a topic, filtering by subject gives you a chapter-level record. Chapters that appear once in April and never again are the ones that cost you marks in May.

- What are revision rounds R0 to R7?
- R0 is the mock itself and R1 onward are analysis passes over it, due at 3, 7, 14, 21, 30, 45 and 60 days, each interval counted from the previous round rather than from the mock date. With one attempt a year, going back to a mock matters more in NEET than almost anywhere.
- Can I track chapter-level topics inside Biology?
- Yes. Every session carries a topic under its subject, so you can log at chapter level and see which topics your accuracy is actually weakest in rather than only which subject.
- Does it work for mocks from Allen, Aakash or NTA papers?
- Yes. Provider is a field on each mock, so you can log any source and compare your trend across them. Percentile and rank both depend on the cohort sitting that specific paper, which is why comparing across providers needs the provider recorded.
- Is there an Android app?
- Yes, alongside the web app at karmayogi.space. Timer state lives on the server, so a session survives a refresh or moving between devices mid-study.
